About Me
How do you choose the person to share your confidences with?
How do you pick the person you trust with the things that you have locked up in the deepest part of your heart; the person who will support you and not judge you, encourage you and not criticize you, build you up and not tear you down?
First, of course, you look for their professional experience and credentials. I have both. My years as a counselor and my degrees of education demonstrate that I have developed an intelligent approach to listening and an iron-clad respect for the worth of every person who needs help.
Second, you need to find a person who knows exactly where you are. Someone whose life experiences and personal values reflect the compassion and understanding that can lead you out of that place and into a more positive and fulfilling life.
I hold two degrees in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling. I am a certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State.
My life experiences have given me a unique connection to women who are experiencing abuse, both physical and emotional. That connection allows me to listen for the cues that identify my client’s unique situation, hear and accept her fears and concerns, and offer an individualized set of tools that, over time, can lead to a better life, free from the judgments and manipulations imposed on her by others.
